April 29, 1973- (2/2) Martinsville did not have a tunnel, so race officials were forced to throw the yellow to allow the ambulance to cross the track. Cale was stalking Pearson for the win when he spun w/ eight laps to go. Bobby Isaac, Buddy Baker, and Cecil Gordon were 3rd-5th.
