Several days ago I noticed that the knives, forks and spoons all made different sounds when I dropped them in the cutlery drawer and now I can't stop thinking about it.

I saw one of my saucepans in the film Judy #BBC which was set in 1968 and it's prompted me to post this my photo of my 1960s saucepan collection.

Whenever I hear the phrase, 'A lorry is having its tyres changed' I visualise the lorry, like a patient horse, lifting its leg up for a fresh horseshoe.

When I was 21 I had a one night stand with a man who is now on the UK Rich List and has been for years. Each time he appears in the press, my best friend then (and now) sends me the piece with the words, ‘This could have been yours.’

I gave my phone number to a random man on Bumble whom I’ve not met yet and he tried to face time me at 11pm. I don’t think so.

I had to buy full cream as they were out of semi-skimmed. Never going back.

It looks like the egg is going before the chicken.

In 1976 I used to have my acrylic nails done by a lady called Stacia. She told me that she was married to Roy Dyke, of the band, Ashton Gardner and Dyke. Her maiden name was Gay. What she didn’t tell me was that she was the lady dancing in Hawkwind’s Silver Machine video.

Does anyone else rotate their socks, so none of them feel neglected?
