Jennifer Tennessen, Center for Ecosystem Sentinels University of Washington told Scientific American that some bands of orcas in the Pacific Northwest also eat sharks, but they live far off the coast, so their behaviors are hard to observe.

Fun fact!

Like many seabirds, Magellanic penguins have supraorbital glands above their eyes that allow them to drink seawater without dehydrating by filtering out the salt!

Later on, the penguins will sneeze out excess salt water! 🐧
