Great to be back in Lima last week to talk about some of our recent work that will make a difference — including my bipartisan FEND Off Fentanyl Act which just became law.

Our law will take on fentanyl traffickers and help keep this deadly drug out of Ohio communities.

In Youngstown today to share the good news that our FEND Off Fentanyl bill is now federal law thanks to the support of Ohio law enforcement & first responders.

By targeting the flow of fentanyl, our law will help lighten their burden as they work to keep our communities safe.

Ohio manufacturers can compete with anyone, they just need a level playing field. That means a government that stands up to foreign trade cheats.

I’ll always fight for stronger trade enforcement.

Today we remember the workers across Ohio and our country who lost their lives on the job.

Workers Memorial Day reminds us all to never back down from the fight for safer workplaces.

The living conditions at Covenant House & Ashland Manor in Toledo were unacceptable. I called on Department of Housing and Urban Development to work with local leaders to hold the owners accountable and turn things around.

We’ll keep pushing to make sure these residences are safe and livable for Ohioans.

The President must sign the national security package immediately to take on the cartels in Mexico & chemical suppliers in China that are devastating Ohio communities.

This is big. Corporations use noncompete agreements to prevent workers from leaving for jobs with better pay & benefits.

They’re exploitative, and I’ve been pushing the FTC to ban them for years. Today is a great day for worker freedom.

If you put in extra work, you should earn extra pay. For too long, corporations have taken advantage of workers.

We fought for this for years. Now millions more workers will get paid for the hours they work.
