Happy Flag Day and thank you to all the veterans who have defended the freedoms and rights our flag represents.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to address the Class of 2025 students at PS65, PS316 and PS63 in Ozone Park. Congratulations to all our graduating students!

Last night, I was pleased to meet with Community Board 9 as they socialized and had dinner at Pop’s Cocina & Bar in Woodhaven and to present the restaurant/bar with a Senate Citation.

I am please to be a part of the Woodhaven Mural Project. My thanks to Jennifer Lambert, Neil Giannelli, local students, the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) and all others for making these beautification murals possible.
