I am delighted to post about my main PhD project and our latest publication in Chemistry! Here we demonstrate our efforts to synthesize a carbon nanotube via a bottom-up approach. Along the way, we also synthesized the longest cycloparaphenylene acetylene to date Universität Basel.

We report in Communications Chemistry a new rotaxane to control lipid membranes using light. We can modulate the membrane tension and size of the vesicles. Great collaboration with Prof. Jeremy Smith and Dr. Micholas Smith Oak Ridge Lab and Hanumantha Rao Vutukuri LSU Chemistry LSU Research LSU College of Science
