The first results of my PhD project were presented at the ESC Congress 2022. We showed a significant benefit of vitamin K2 supplementation in patients with CAC score >399 AU! Does supplementation with Vit K2 really decrease progression of coronary atherosclerosis? This is tested in DANCODE (RCT: vit K2 and D vs placebo). First of 400 patients is included. Results in 2026.
