STAR met with Nigel Howe today for an update. The buyers have lent the club money to cover this months wages and HMRC. They now have the remaining time left of the exclusivity period to complete the deal.

Today, I commended the new Football Governance Bill and fans everywhere, notably Reading FC. Been to Southend, West Brom and Reading fans' protests alone this season.

Bury, Blackpool, Orient, Hereford, Wigan, Derby, Northampton, Portsmouth, so much pain and loss.

And Masters has the brass neck to talk down an Independent Regulator to government. Let that sink in.

Not much news is (hopefully!) good news.

We've not had much to say recently because the sale appears to be progressing. We know staff, players and taxman have been paid and in general, the lack of noise implies a lack of drama, which is good - we've had more than enough of that…
