Third grade makes learning SIMPLE! After spending the last 7 weeks learning about simple machines, students have earned their Knowledge Constructor badge for all of the research they have done, and have been able to design and test out examples of various simple machines.

5th grade loved using Canva to make news reports! They had to fly drones to simulated disasters to "rescue" a LEGO person, then make a news report explaining what happened. It was so cool! I love seeing their creativity with their ideas and scripts.

One of my new favorite projects! I knew I wanted to appropriately introduce AI to students, but wasn't sure how. 4th grade learned about AI and its limitations, and then got to use Scribble Diffusion to add illustrations to their fractured fairy tale stories. So creative!

Perfect night for B-W Educ. Foundation Mini Golf fundraiser! Had so much fun with the BWSD Mobile Fab Lab and @MSFTCopilot making AI portraits for students. Also got to meet my favorite video game character Sonic, and enjoy all the fun the night had to offer!

Fourth Grade has been zipping right into the engineering design process. We learned the steps to create a design then put them into action with some exhilarating LEGO ziplines!

5th graders learned the history of how the 🎡 was engineered. Did you know it was designed in Pittsburgh and used steel as its main material? Neither did we! Then they had so much fun using K'nex to create their own
