Really good, in-depth report by the good folks SamKnows (part of Cisco) about the recent outages #facebook and other major sites/CDNs. Highlights the wider impact on the rest of the Internet – particularly #DNS. Question we’d ask – what were ISP support call volumes like during these outages?
Today we are mainly implementing #HPAruba monitors on our platform - in a stadium/venue context. Nice #API test vulnerability - very nice indeed!
Good fun this afternoon testing our #speedtest framework for #FFTH in the lab. Focus of our young acolyte from Clevedon School school was on rate limited services. @Accedian NIDs and their Blue traffic shaping algorithm once again proving valuable.
