Up for a little #fossil factual fun? What is this #fossil? I was having a rummage through the #geology specimens and found this. I now know what it is, but I had to read the label and do a little online research. It was found in the UK in Cretaceous chalk.

Great start to our #Arran2024 #geology adventure yesterday with an introduction to the #geology in Glen Rosa valley. We are heading north today, back ~500 million years to start our journey through Arran's geological past ⏰ 🌎
