Who Pays Us? Nobody. We were asked point-blank at a hearing: "Who funds you?" The answer? No industry money. No government contracts. No lobbyist dollars. Just volunteers, public interest, and the belief that America's electric grid shouldn't be left defenseless.

"Load Shed" – The Utilities' Secret Plan to Cut Your Power Instead of Protecting the Grid. Instead of hardening the grid, utilities have a backup plan: just turn your power off. It's called "load shedding" and it means when the grid is overwhelmed, YOU get cut first. Not the

Imagine setting the hurricane standard based on a light breeze. That's what NERC did with our grid. Their protection standard: 0.8 V/km for parts of the U.S. What a real solar storm delivers: 20–85+ V/km. NERC's own scientists recommended 30–40 V/km back in 2013.

Tuesday Night in America. No warning. No alarm. Just silence. A grid attack won't feel like a movie. It'll feel like dinner getting cold and not knowing why. We're not ready. We need to be.

A utility manager drove out to a remote substation in the middle of the night in May 2024, not to fix anything, but to photograph the aurora overhead. Why? Because the Gannon geomagnetic storm was pushing GIC (ground induced currents) into the grid, and the SolidGround neutral

An Important reminder that threats evolve. The same bad actors who'd steal crop dusters to spray chemicals over crowds wouldn't hesitate for a secound to target power substations, transformers, or transmission lines. Our grid infrastructure is just as undefended against creative
