My top #greatyarmouth recommendation is the Hippodrome, one of my all time favourite #seaside attractions. The 1903 building is a star on its own but the circus show I saw this week was brilliant - great acts and stunning synchronized swimming HIPPODROME CIRCUS

Enjoyed my #drinkingfountain talk Leeds Philosophical and Literary Society yesterday and this morning made a pilgrimage to #RoundhayPark with the lovely Rachael Unsworth to see the Barran fountain of 1882. Designed by Thomas Ambler it has 8 granite bowls but sadly no water ⛲

This is slightly cheating because the hotel was named after a man called Henry Scarborough but still nice to see a bit of seaside in the city 😉 #Leeds #pub
