Thought CJ Allen was outstanding Saturday night at Auburn. One of the best in the country in a loaded LB class. Still only 20 years old

Connor Lew's ACL tear in October complicates his projection. He likely won't be able to be cleared for football until sometime in training camp. His vision and pass blocking skills are top tier. Watch him pick up this crashing LB and block 2 defenders.

Kentucky right guard Jalen Farmer is another one of my guys. A phone-booth mauler and a brick wall in pass pro w/one of the better anchors in this class. Moves better than given credit for too. Solid Day 2 impact pick.

The Seahawks currently have $59M in effective cap space (OTC). By my estimations, they would need approximately $55M to retain all of their UFAs. They can open up a little more breathing room with extensions/restructures. Williams, Nwosu, & Darnold the obvious candidates there.

If there's one UFA I'm comfortable letting walk, it's Boye Mafe. Why? It would save ~$10M of cap space, Derick Hall has come on strong lately and is entering the final year of his rookie deal, and EDGE is arguably the easiest position to target with pick 32.

40-time, and speed in general, is the single most overvalued trait for receiver prospects. NFL defenses are too good for speed to be the reason a receiver makes plays downfield. For each and every yard a target is deeper downfield, the more likely the target will be contested.

As someone who is now an outsider to the draft evaluation process, I think there’s an important reminder to be made about discourse in this space: The draft is one of the most unpredictable and chaotic endeavors you can dive into. Even the very best in the business miss at a

Talked to Georgia linebacker CJ Allen a bit just now. Apparently Glenn Schumann just let him run the show on the field most of the time unless he had a specific situational call on the sheet he wanted to get into. For everything else, Allen did the calls, the checks, all of it.

The Seahawks have ample cap space, so let's say they don't re-sign Woolen and K9: Ignoring JSN and Spoon extensions, what are they doing with the rest of the money? Active free agency? A big trade? They don't have the type of draft capital to replace FA losses with rookies.
