Waterways is one of the seven engines of growth that drive PM Gatishakti - the national master plan for multimodal #Connectivity & #logistics efficiency. IWAI is developing 111 NWs in a phased manner to make #waterways a preferred mode of #transportation & connectivity.

In order to take suggestions from stakeholders for the #development of Multi Modal Logistic Park at #Sahibganj in #Jharkhand , a consultative meet is set to take place at IWAI Noida head office which will be attended by representatives of National Highways Logistics Management Limited & Rail Vikas Nigam Limited

In back to back Anti #Narco #Operations Indian Coast Guard Ship jointly with #ATS #Gujarat apprehended a Fishing Boat with 173Kg narcotics and 2 perpetrators at sea.

Further investigations in progress.

The operation follows the seizure of #Pakistani Fishing Boat on 28 Apr.
