Joseph Cash was a member of Seafarers Union at age 16. Alcoa Partner was his 1st ship. Joe & 25 crewmen made it Island of Bonaire in a lifeboat. Serving on 3 torpedoed ships, he joined the Navy. Captain Joe retired from teaching in 1982, returned to sea, sailing for Mobil Oil.
