🚨Mark Ruskell has formally lodged his members' bill to end greyhound racing in Scotland! Backed by animal welfare groups, campaigners and members of the public, the bill will now work its way through the Scottish Parliament.

It was an honour to sign my bill which would end Greyhound racing. It's a cruel sport that causes a huge amount of harm to dogs. I hope that the Scottish Government & MSPs from all parties will support me & that we can get my bill over the line and end greyhound racing for good.

The Greyhound Racing (offences) Bill has been introduced in the Scottish Parliament. It’s a landmark step for animal welfare - this Bill will make it a criminal offence to: -cause or permit a greyhound to run on an oval racetrack -operate a greyhound racing track in Scotland
