I don't think this is strictly related to fear. This year the most income ETFs have been launched. The demand for passive income via option premium I believe is a driving force in the rise of option prices on both the call and put side.

We need no new tax. We need to eliminate almost all taxes and become self-reliant again. Local taxes, and national taxes only to protect our Liberty and borders.

I liked it all until the last sentence. ✅ The Government should not cap interest rates. ❌ "The Government Could / Should" ... Really doesn't matter what else follows. The answer is no. The government should not do anything. Let the free market do its thing.
