Outside of HVAC, we: -switch to high smoke point cooking oils -flush the home by opening all windows and turning on all exhaust fans when outdoor air quality, temp, and humidity is right -robot vacuum daily -monitor IAQ because you can’t manage what you don’t measure

Did about half my sour dough bulk fermenting outside today because it was around 78F (more like 82F), and it had a much bigger volume before shaping. I’m sorta scared for the results tomorrow.

#energytwitter Real Time Pricing utility programs are broken and only benefit the privileged. ComEd is now paying us $8.50/month to be enrolled in their program, thanks to our rooftop solar system. Other customers will owe upwards of $30/month for their capacity charge.
