Here's Motion using 99% of my Nvidia RTX A2000 on their home page just to render sales videos. We have a responsibility as developers to minimize power usage of our apps on end-user devices, esp. on battery. Makes me wonder how bad the rest of their code is. 🤷‍♂️

I started #rucking (using a weighted vest) while walking. Started with 12 lbs./5.4 kg, up to 15 lbs./6.8kg this week. It's one of the best fitness things I've ever done. If you like walking, do yourself a favor: start rucking. Even a 10 lb. vest will make a huge difference.

I'm doing something new (for me) with Ghostty: the issue tracker is only for actionable tasks. Features in the issue tracker are accepted and well-scoped. Bugs are reproducible. PRs must have an associated issue (no drive-by PRs). The issue tracker is not used for discussion.

.NET 10 reduces IEnumerable 'penalty' from 83% to 10% I posted recently how the compiler team are looking to reduce what's known as the abstraction penalty in #dotnet 10. It looks like things are progressing well so far. I ran the below benchmark (code snippet in 2nd tweet)
