Scottish Secretary Alister Jack attended a ceremony yesterday in Edinburgh to mark the start of the Stone of Scone’s journey home to Perthshire.

The sacred object once played an integral role in the crowning of Scottish monarchs & holds a unique place in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 culture & folklore.

The Stone will be housed in Perth Museum, backed by £10 million UK Government funding as part of Tay Cities Deal.
