Over the summer, Mr Swinney brought together faith and community leaders to listen to concerns and provide a message of reassurance from Scottish Government .

We are committed to ending harmful conversion practices in Scotland. We will work with the UK Government to explore a joint approach to protecting people across the UK, but we will also continue to prepare devolved legislation should that not be possible.

Social Justice Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville has confirmed @Scotgov remains committed to protecting, promoting and advancing human rights. Ahead of the introduction of a Human Rights Bill we will work with stakeholders and the UK Government to strengthen future legislation.

We are committed to publishing a Disability Equality Plan and will continue to work closely with disabled people’s organisations to ensure their voices are heard. This is a key step towards developing a longer term plan to improve the lives of disabled people.

In the Programme for Government @Scotgov is making a new long-term commitment of £100m to leverage private investment of £400m to support the construction of around 2800 homes for mid-market rent – to make public funds go further to provide the homes people need.

Scotland stands in solidarity with Ukraine. We are continuing to work with councils and the third sector to support those displaced by the war. Social Justice Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville visited AUGB Glasgow to meet Ukrainians and hear their experiences of coming to Scotland.

.The Highland Council has received £60,000 in @ScotGov funding to support access to affordable childcare - helping parents to live, work and raise children in the area. The council is one of six across Scotland to benefit from the £360,000 Addressing Depopulation Fund.
