We are incredibly proud of the events we've hosted in the last 17 years. It means a great deal to be a trusted venue for governing bodies, and we look forward to adding to our championship history this June when both The Amateur Championship and Final Qualifying come to town.

There's a reason we lay claim to being the truest links on the north-west coast. Our land is the definition of links golf - "the land that links the farmland to the sea". With a railway adjacent too, it doesn't get more authentically links than here.

A beautiful day on the links, temps hitting 20c & the last pieces of turf laid into what was a phenomenal winter project. Staff (& Chris Cardinal ) have knocked it out the park with everything done. Very proud to say done “in house” Well done guys! 🤜

One of this winters most significant projects was the redevelopment of the 3rd teeing area. New grass pathways and a new back tee have been created to improve the transition from the previous green, enhance course setup options and help distribute tee wear more effectively.

The legendary Donald Steel was unapologetic in his admiration for our links. We may be bias, but we wholeheartedly agree with him.

Our subtle greens mirror the links as a whole - not as severe as you might find elsewhere, but that is precisely their charm. Here, gentle slopes make the course such an enjoyable repeat play. You never quite master the links, and each round teaches you something new.

In June, we co-host The Amateur Championship with Royal Liverpool, and our members are already showing huge support for welcoming the world's best amateurs to our links. After all, the last time we co-hosted, Matteo Manassero won.
