We are excited to welcome Sherwood Elementary students back to school next week to begin their new 2021-2022 school year. Please be advised that only Kindergarten students will attend classes on Tuesday, September 7. All grades will have classes on Wednesday, September 8.

The first day of regular classes for all students from Grade 1 through Grade 6 will begin on Wednesday, September 8. Students are asked to return to their previous year’s homeroom class when the morning bell rings. Students will be directed to their new classes from there.

Tuesday, September 7, will be an orientation day for our Kindergarten students. The first bell rings at 8:25 a.m. and students are dismissed for the day at 2:40 p.m. All grades will have regular classes on Wednesday, September 8.

It was a fantastic Terry Fox Run today at Sherwood Elementary School! Students & staff ran, jogged, & walked to honour the marathon each day Terry ran for our country to raise awareness and funds for cancer. Terry Fox Foundation Public Schools Branch @parker_grimmer

We are moving to remote learning. Teachers Sherwood School will be reaching out to students & providing details about synchronous & asynchronous learning. Access to learning materials will be available on January 5 so that students can begin learning. Public Schools Branch @parker_grimmer
