As part of our ‘Fabulous Friday’ sessions, Year 4 have been studying Hundertwasser’s artwork. Hundertwasser was an Austrian visual artist who was fascinated by spirals. #OPS #EduArtsFest #Ironstone

Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic visit to our local farm this week! We met lots of different animals, learned about what they eat and how they are cared for. We loved having our lunch outdoors in the sunshine, before having a lovely walk back to school through the woods.

If you’d seen the children’s faces on the playground this week, you’d have been forgiven for thinking Christmas had come early! A huge thank you to our wonderful Miss Akerman for bringing so many toys (sports equipment) and smiles to OPS this week. 😊

Year 3’s author is the fabulous Jeremy Strong so we got busy and made a fabulous display all about him and his super stories. Turns out the man himself loves our display as much as we love his books! 😊
