Today for Harvest of the Month we served Pizza Margherita with local basil. Some basil came from Ollin Farms and MASA Seed Foundation, and some came from the raised beds outside our very own BVSD Greenhouse! This is Miriam, our Greenhouse Manager, who grew our in-house basil!

Members of our Culinary Center team recently came in 2nd in the nation in the 2023 Fall Healthy Kids Step It Up challenge!  Team "The Walking Bread," had five members who walked over 3 MILLION steps combined!
