Happy Reader books make us happy! Did you know that since 2015 we have been using the Happy Readers literacy scheme in 6 partner schools and have used them to help over 500 out of school girls to catch up with their english reading levels before returning to school? #literacy

We are excited to announce the start of a new 2 year project in partnership with the UN Development Programme! #UNDP The Eco Life Clubs of Sinazongwe will take place at 5 schools and train eco life club members as climate adaption educators.

Many of you helped us to build a new library and e-learning centre at Siansowa Primary last year by donating on #GivingTuesday. We love seeing how loved the centre already is and can't wait to find out at the end of the year what an impact it has made on literacy levels!

On Wednesday, we had the joy of distributing books to our eager learners in Muchekwa and Chisyabulungu. The teachers and pupils received these with much gratitude and excitement. New books can open new doors. #learners #books #muchgratitude #school #zambia

A local student, dropped out of school due to financial constraints. She joined our Own Your Destiny project and received entrepreneurship training. She started her own business allowing her to save and invest. She has returned to school and dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.
