I agree, even as an “atheist.” We don’t realize how crucial it is for us to learn the scripture, especially the problematic ones. So many things they did that could be emulated today and so many things they did that should serve as a lesson on how NOT to run a civilization.

There is no moral, ethical, or diplomatic reason for the Waqf’s continued existence in India. It’s an affront to our “secularism” that this nuisance has enjoyed 70+ years of privilege in this country with an impunity that only grows more brazen by the day.
