2/ We, as men, are physically stronger and more imposing. Our voices are louder. Our punches are harder. That imposes a responsibility upon us, those who have honour, not to abuse those comparative advantages. It imposes a duty to forsake violence and to let women speak

3/ Boys who are properly raised and become honourable men understand this. Such men also understand that to treat a woman in this fashion is perhaps the single most dishonourable thing a man can do. This is what wife beaters do. This is what abusers do. This is what criminals do

I want to see an end of English rule on this island. We can govern ourselves better than anyone else. On an island of this size it doesn’t suit to face away from each other. We must work together to create a new, better Ireland for all who call this place home. #GFA25

'It is a game of inches and yesterday Dublin just shaded it. Heads up this is a great Kerry team but the Dubs are a team of the generations . We will be back . We are always there. Roll on 2024' One Kerry Today listener on yesterday's battle.

The Prime Minister has just posted a new video - telling us with a big fat smile on his face that his plan is working. Tell that to the 14 million people now living in poverty & the kids eating out of bins! If you share my rage RT this widely

Congratulations to Irish band The Wolfe Tones 🇮🇪 who drew the biggest crowd EVER to the Electric Arena at Electric Picnic. Organisers said the fans inside and outside the tent enjoyed every minute and sang along enthusiastically to every song.

Ed R I recognise that there are divided opinions. I don’t know the full circs., but assume that they were held on the tarmac. I am partial to trad music & would have enjoyed that performance. They seem to be mainly young musicians and their exuberance is at least surely excusable
