My painting has certainly improved with daily work. At least there are more finished pieces. Usually my creative juices get taken over by the music. That has taken a back seat so my artwork is the beneficiary. Great fun. But….I still have many songs you’ll be hearing in 2023!

Worked on an old demo a moment ago. Looking freshly at it, I could see the vocal, lyrics and story line faults. Changed all those. Then I added Hammond organ to the basic guitar track. Hopefully I’ve made it a song that can be included on another album down the line.

Got two soccer games lined up to take me through the morning on into lunchtime. I predict a Brighton/Leicester tie and the same for Arsenal/Man U. I’m not a betting man….usually I’m wrong about these things!

No matter how many times I watch the Fear Street trilogy, I’m always so charmed by the Nick and Ziggy romance…but then I remember that he’s a monster 🫠

Summer will soon be over. Always nice to hang paintings reminding ourselves of the summer. I do these 5” x 7”s for fun. Soon I’ll be painting the beautiful Fall trees and then my winter backyard!

I love when you experience a piece of art, and it’s nothing spectacular. Then days, months, maybe years later, it finds you again, and it just hits you in ways that you never could have understood when you first saw it
