We are a registered charity made up entirely of volunteer representatives from local groups who have a keen interest in Victoria Park.

We are overseen by delegates from community councils, local organisations & trusts and Friends of VP.

Many of us are dog lovers but we need to remember this is nesting time when the aquatic fowl, need to be calm and not stressed. This is to ensure their chicks have a chance.

If your dog is excitable, please keep it under control and away from nesting birds & their young.

In recent years, whenever, Glasgow City Council's plans have threatened to degrade the quality of the park, the locals have been more than ready to come out and protest.

The former Glasgow Protestant Institute for Orphaned and Destitute Girls on Westland Drive in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. The institute was founded in 1825, but it wasn't until 1891 that this purpose-built home was constructed for it.

Lord Provost, Philip Braat, did the honours & we're pleased that the tree's still flourishing as a symbol of amity between our countries.
