On 5/10 Village of Wilmette is set to approve @WilmetteParks operation of lighted paddle courts to 11pm half the year on work and school nights in one of the most socioeconomically diverse neighborhoods in Wilmette, when area norm (and East Wilmette rule) is 10pm. Thoughts The Record North Shore?

Proving that the Village colludes with the Park District including on the destruction of West Park and mistreatment of the West of Edens neighborhood, the Village now promotes the Park District's misleading Board Briefs advancing their improper agenda. #savewestparkwilmette.

Talk is cheap. Despite what was said in May, @WilmetteParks is back to antagonizing residents, avoiding transparency and doing the minimum for neighbors while proceeding with construction of new courts--and destruction of park space--that Village of Wilmette should never have approved.
