Happy #FunFactFriday Did you know polar bears are the only bear species classified as marine mammals? This is because of their dependence on the sea ice for their habitat and food. #polarbears #marinemammals #savethewhales

Whale sharks are not whales, but are the world’s largest fish. They are the third biggest animal in the ocean (after blue whales and fin whales) and can reach a length of 39 feet. They are not aggressive and pose no harm to humans. #savethewhales

Marine mammals of all kinds are unintentionally swallowing harmful debris, mistaking it for prey. By taking small steps, such as using eco-friendly products and supporting sustainable practices, we can ensure a safer future for our beloved ocean dwellers. #savethewhales
