Two juvenile Kingfishers chilling out at #LMGP this morning.

First bird I saw at #LMGP this morning was this huge looking Great White Egret, # 130 for the patch year list. Also found a couple of Striped Lychnis caterpillars on an unmown Dark Mullein right next to a busy road - new for patch BC Upper Thames

Back from holidaying and back on patch at #LMGP. Juv Black-tailed Godwit and Yellow-legged Gull this morning. On Sunday morning, a calling Tree Pipit over the north fields was patch year tick #131.

I took a short video of this morning's juv Black-tailed godwit at #LMGP just as it decided to fly off c06:30.

A migrant flock of Common Terns flew in to #LMGP yesterday morning, including 2 1st summer types, 3 juvs and 3 adults - a strange combo. This is one of the 1st summer types.

It's taken a while, but eventually found a patch Redstart for the year. This juv female type was at the top of Emmett's in a hedge that has attracted them before. #132 for the year - slow going, but creeping onwards.

Wasn't expecting this Common Scoter to drift past me this morning at #LMGP. We don't often get them here and this is only my 2nd record.

Some distant cropped gullage from #LMGP. Today's 1cy Caspian Gull - looking quite tatty as it is missing swathes of lesser and median coverts. Seems unnatural but was on both sides. Yesterday's 1cy Yellow-legged Gull in the 3rd pic.

Stumbled across a Cattle Egret this morning, preening on a post at the Marlow Low Ground floods. A reasonable chance this is the same bird that came in to roost at #LMGP last week.

A sizeable gull roost at #LMGP yesterday. Best was this adult Med Gull, but 2500+ Common Gulls is building to their peak mid Winter numbers. Also a roosting redhead Goosander

A lovely sunny wander around the #LMGP patch today. Both of yesterday's gulls reappeared - the 2w Casp and 1w Med - a better cropped pic of the Med plus original photo. Earlier 2 foxes were enjoying the sunshine on the spit.
