Answer: B. Oral equivalent dosing is furosemide 40 mg PO = torsemide 20 mg PO = bumetanide 1 mg PO. Furosemide IV to PO is 1:2 and bumetanide IV to PO is 1:1. Therefore furosemide 40 mg PO BID = furosemide 40 mg IV daily = torsemide 40 mg PO daily = bumetanide 2 mg PO daily.
