Huge honor and pleasure to be with Rockefeller University grads and faculty. A jewel of an institution, and some mighty students. Go forth and make #science for people and the planet.
We are excited that our study on telomere sequencing in collaboration with Oxford Nanopore is published nature.com/articles/s4146… We developed Telo-seq, a method to determine the length and composition of entire human telomeres in bulk, chromosome arm and in some cases allelic resolution
Excited to share that our new preprint is out! We used #AlphaFold multimer to screen 7000+ nuclear proteins to find new nucleosome acidic patch binders. Great collaboration between Johannes Walter and Lucas Farnung. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Decarbonizing the grid will require creative solutions to tough problems. With the support of @ActivateFellows, our team at Standard Potential is well-positioned to overcome these hurdles by minimizing both materials and manufacturing for #sodiumion #batteries.
Thank you for this wonderful Spotlight, JK Nandakumar lab!
1/7 Our latest preprint is out! 🚨 Sourav Agrawal | ସୌରଭ , Xiuhua Lin , Vivek Susvirkar et al. discover human RPA is a critical telomerase processivity factor essential for telomere maintenance. This reshapes our understanding of human telomerase regulation. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Grad students and postdocs!! Please join us at the 2025 Gordon Research Conferences GRS on Mammalian DNA Repair on Feb 1-2 with Gaëlle Legube lab Chromatin Repair as our keynote speaker! Talks selected from submitted abstracts Register here: grc.org/mammalian-dna-…
Excited to share that I'm starting a new research group at UCLA Chem & Biochem and CNSI at UCLA! We'll focus on the molecular architecture of tight junctions - barriers crucial for human health - using biochemical reconstitution, cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, and cell-based assays.
We're so pleased for our 2024 Fellow Charles A. Emogor, PhD , who has been recognized with an international ifaw United Kingdom award for his pangolin conservation work. Charles has just started his interdisciplinary Fellowship journey, we can't wait to see where he takes it bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Now online Nature Cell Biology! Our work Dubrana Lab, demonstrating cohesin dependent DNA double-strand break end-tethering. All the details: nature.com/articles/s4155…
