We had a fantastic turn out for today’s book group meeting FourbearsBooks As our theme for this month was Dragons Sarah Stuffins started by reading an advanced copy of Beach’s hilarious #BigBadDragonClub Simon & Schuster Children's Books (publishing end of March).
It was lovely to meet author Carrie Sellon at one of our member schools in Reading today - loving the tiny pizza earrings! Sarah Stuffins got our copy of #PizzaPeteAndThePerilousPotions Guppy Books signed, while Alex from FourbearsBooks lined up all the pre-ordered books! 🍕
Really enjoyed the iszi lawrence launch at FourbearsBooks yesterday evening. Loved the choice of a plastic book rest as the most boring item to put in the time machine. It didn't really work as jewellery either!
Last year, our Children's Book Award ceremony sadly didn't happen due to Train Strikes. Today, our intrepid CBA coordinator, Sarah Stuffins finally caught up with one 1/2 of our 2022 winning duo Peter Bently for Octopus Shocktopus! Steven Lenton we will see you at conference!
