I miss being head over heels in love with a story. TV, book, movie, anything really. Lots of perfectly pleasant experiences, but I’m craving can’t-stop-thinking-of-you obsession.

Possibly related, but I’ve been missing the scrappiness of older television storytelling. The stories/character development we wouldn’t have gotten if these series hadn’t been trying to creatively fill 22+ episodes.
