DIY artist in residence with Raina J. León in NOLA! As creative scholars, it’s hard to find such thinkers. This week, I sat at a table with 4 of us. We spoke excitedly & over each other. It’s rare to find your people, so when you do, we share all innovative thoughts at once.

Lots going on this week: first lecture as a CSUF visiting scholar tomorrow, Fullerton college on Thursday to talk SanTana’s Fairy Tales, & then a Fairytales for Truth & Justice workshop on Friday at Saddleback college — Orange County, my home region, finally showing me some love!

2 presentations done, 1 more to go today! Every talk I give about SanTana’s Fairy Tales results in a different conversation & I learn from the student analysis of my work. Yesterday after the talk, there was a line of students waiting for my autograph. Totally didn’t expect that.
