Good morning. After a stormy weekend, it’s a much quieter weather picture for your Monday morning commute. I’ll have more details about the rest of the week’s weather on BBC Breakfast.

The radar shows where we’ve seen wintry showers over recent hours. These areas close to the east coast of England and Scotland, as well as south-west England and Northern Ireland correspond to warning areas for ice and snow this morning.

It’s the 1st of December, the official start of #winter and we’ve got a cold day ahead. Watch out for ice, especially round the east coasts of the British Isles as well as south-west England. A few wintry showers today but most places dry. More details me on BBC Breakfast.
