Taking some time to reflect on INTERFACE Magazine #xpo23. Loved meeting @edtech_nicole in person. Got lots out of the chat around AI, assessment and ethics. Also some great google updates I didn’t know about! I’ve been to a lot of PL that hasn’t been that great but today was good.

This has been my biggest time saver this week - just by holding down the back arrow in the top left corner of #chrome I can quickly jump back to somewhere I've recently been. Such a fast way to navigate my #GoogleDrive when working b/w folders 😊 Google for Education #edtech #GEG

Two areas of thinking concerning AI/ChatGPT: 1 - The humanities are more important than ever as we become more technologically advanced. 2 - I don't want to spend an inordinate amount of time policing AI. How do both of these play out in the classroom?

So as this school year comes to an end, absolutely ZERO regrets about leaning on the new Google Doc drop-down feature for rubrics/grading 🙏 #nevergoingback

As you dig into AI more, remember this: AI bias is human bias. It isn't a bug or flaw that AI created. Humans created the info in it's dataset. AI runs off what human knowledge feeds it. Bias WILL show up in your AI results. Be ready to talk w/students about it. #aiforedu
