2023 ACDS Prize of Outstanding ECRs Applications now open! australasiancelldeathsociety.com/acds-awards Australasian Cell Death Society Centre for Cancer Biology UniSA Research

Excited to share our preprint that spatially profiles the necroptotic cell death pathway in mouse and human tissues. With James Murphy + WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) we pinpoint necroptotic changes during inflammation, dysbiosis, immunisation and in IBD patients! biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

Easily some of the most important work we’ve done. We have tools to pin down where and when necroptosis happens in biopsies, with a few surprises already. Congrats especially to first authors Shene Chiou & Aysha Al-Ani and to Andre Samson who heroically directed traffic

Your hard working team of Biomolecular Horizons 2024 organisers Lorne Proteins. Looking forward to the next celebration of Science, Ideas and fantastic speakers in Melbourne in September, 2024, incorporating #ComBio, @IUBMB & @FAOBMB. There's nothing this girl can't do! An incredible and extremely well-deserved recognition of her science, work ethic and contribution to community. Well done Sarah Garnish! You're making all of us at WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) and the #celldeath community proud!

It’s taken time to sink in but it was a privilege to win the Basic Science Researcher award at this years Premier’s Awards for Health and Medical Research. Congratulations to all the other winners and finalists. Thanks to Victorian Government , WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) & my mentor James Murphy

Fortunate to be in such esteemed company and very conscious of the great people who missed out. Very proud of some legends who were supported- congrats to Chris Horne and Sarah Garnish (now at Monash). Hats off to the great support from the WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) grants team

Very overwhelmed, relieved and excited to have been awarded a NHMRC EL1 Investigator grant! Thank you to all those who have helped me along this journey, with special shout outs to James Murphy , Dr. Joanne Hildebrand and Hayley Newton !

It is an absolute joy to be part of the Australasian Cell Death Society committee! Such a wonderful community of encouraging and kind scientists ☠️
