You’ll never convince me that this isn’t, at least in part, retaliation for the strike.

The AI is not terrifying because it's too powerful, but because it lets operatives defer responsibility to the system, and lets leaders use it to justify nearly any level of violence they already desired to undertake—AI is terrifying because it's an enabler *of* the powerful.

Have you heard of expert systems? Probably not. That was the 'AI' that was gonna change humanity that billions were being poured into in the 80s. The same news orgs hype stuff up during 'AI summers' without even looking into their archives to see what they wrote decades ago.

I just heard a flight attendant tell someone that it usually take about 12 minutes for everyone to get off the plane. But, we all know this has never happened on the history of planes.
