This week I hosted a Westminster Hall Debate on the Transition Into Zero Emission Vans. I recently discussed the challenges around infrastructure and costing with Brakes in Tamworth, and their experiences with the move to electrification.

Last week I visited Brakes to discuss their recent investment in new parking facilities. It was fantastic to meet local constituents, Sophie and Patrick, who work at the site and hear about how Brakes is one of our towns leading employers and suppliers.

I visited the Tamworth Job Centre where I met with the team to discuss the important work they do in supporting residents across Tamworth. The team do fantastic work in helping people develop their skills and get back into work.

This week I spoke to Managing Director of Avanti West Coast, Andy Mellors, alongside my neighbour and collogue Dave Robertson MP. We spoke about the need for more trains linking Tamworth to London, and for better connections to the North West.

Yesterday I attended the Civic Service of Remembrance at St Editha's and the Wilnecote RBL Branch Service at The Prince of Wales. It was an honour to lay a wreath at each service in remembrance of our local heros. We will remember them.

I recently met with the Whittington Energy Group to hear about their solar panels on Whittington Village Hall. Thank you to Mike Kinghan, co-founder of SCE, and chair of the village hall Rob Gray, for meeting with me.

Yesterday I attended a meeting with my fellow members from the Business and Trade Select Committee at the National Audit Office. I look forward to working with colleagues in the months to come!

This week I met with Farmers from the NFU in Parliament. I will continue to work with our local farmers, and will be writing to the NFU and constituents who have contacted me on this issue.

Yesterday I spoke to residents on the Dunstall Park estate about the newly installed double yellow lines that I had been campaigning for following my resident survey. It was great to hear that residents now feel safe when driving in and out of the estate.

Yesterday I was on BBC Politics Midlands where I discussed the increase in funding this Labour Government has set out for local authorities. Areas such as SEND desperately need resources and funding, and I know that the Autumn Budget will deliver that.

Today I hosted a meeting with Staffordshire and Cheshire MPs to meet with various rail organisations to discuss projects that could benefit our constituencies. It was a fantastic discussion where MPs from both counties raised their ideas around rail projects and connectivity.

Today marks the historic second reading of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill brought forward my Kim Leadbeater MP. I will be voting in favour of the bill as I believe everyone should have the right to die in dignity and have the freedom to choose.

Many constituents have raised concerns with me around the proposed Packington Pipeline, so I was pleased to be able to raise this with the Minister for Water and Flooding. I will continue to work with those impacted by this project.

It was brilliant to attend the Blue Cross event in Parliament recently and discuss the work they do in rescuing and caring for animals. As a dog owner myself, it was amazing to meet one of their rescued dogs at the event and see first hand how they care for our furry friends.

I want to wish Tamworth Football Club the best of luck in today’s FA Cup game against Burton Albion! I’m looking forward to watching the match with my neighbour and colleague Jacob Collier MP , and my lamb for good luck!

Huge congratulations to Tamworth Football Club for winning on penalties against Burton Albion! It was a fantastic game and I look forward to seeing who they draw next in the third round, congratulations!

I recently visited Severn Trent's Water Treatment Centre. The process uses natural filtration techniques and only takes approximately 10 hours to complete, which is a lot shorter than you might imagine!

The Annual Christmas Tree Fair in St Editha's has begun! This fantastic tree was decorated by the Knit and Natter Group who always make the most lovely knitted items. If you haven't already, make sure you head down to St Editha's to check out all of the brilliant trees!

It was great to see Minister Bryant at the Creative Industries Council's Parliamentary Reception. The creative industries contribute greatly to British culture and the economy, and I look forward to seeing this Labour Government continue to support this.

I recently attended the Parliamentary Gardening and Horticulture Group's reception which brought together parliamentarians, ministers, government officials, and industry representatives in a celebration of the unique value of the horticulture sector.
