The Catholic Church still has control over the majority of schools in Ireland. This has to end. Schools and hospitals run by them should be taken into public control. France did this over a century ago - it's long past time we did it too.

No one alive today, unless they are 102 years old at youngest, fought in the Second World War for Great Britain. It remains the greatest boomer fantasy that any of them did this given the number of them that actually did is verifiably zero.

To my fellow men who say #NotAllMen - what do you recommend doing when we are incontrovertibly, concretely, undeniably faced with #TooManyMen ? How do women know *which* men? It’s on us. Our move. What’s it going to be?

Not all men, but Gisèle Pélicot’s husband who reportedly drugged and raped her for over 10 years. Not all men, but 90+ male strangers, most living within 1km of her home. Not all men, but men with STDs and HIV who didn’t use condoms. Not all men, but her 'polite' neighbour.

Britain is full of bad public art that seems to have no particular reason to be where it is and gives little to its surroundings, let alone inspires or moves anyone. This is a case in point - the bronze statue of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh was unveiled

Arrive at the cemetery and a woman gardening calls out, ‘You looking for Sylvia? She’s over there.’ Then we see all the pens, flower bunches, and the endearing objects left for a woman we know only through her words. Yes, we’re here for Sylvia. 🖤

So after our trip back to the nine years war we nipped up to The Hill Of O'Neill (see link). An excellent regional heritage centre on the site of Aodh Ò Neil's castle. They have a great events facility where an Indian (?) wedding had just finished. Outside in the sun as the bride

This is Lord Rothermere the Daily Mail Owner. He lives in a mansion in Monaco, he pays tax in France and identifies as French. The Daily Mail is registered in Bermuda and it pays no tax anywhere. Why's a tax dodger complaining about someone not singing the National Anthem.

Sara O'Neill Artist 🐚 your stance is correct. it’s out & out militarism to maintain a war economy i.e. feed the mindset of the young that military aggression is “cool”. they never inform the public of the enormous cost of war or the true cause of war, never. keep being Y O U 👏🏻👌🏻 #Peace

In the early morning of Sept 8, 1888 Annie Chapman lingered in the doorway of her lodging house. That night it had been a choice between filling her empty stomach (a baked potato and beer) or affording a bed. It would be the last time she would have to make that choice.
