“Sketches of Spain” has long been my favorite of the Gil Evans/Miles Davis collaborations, so to play the entire album w/ the Ryan Truesdell at Birdland Jazz Club and Theater 2 miles from where the album was recorded 60+ years ago is a dream come true.
