Remembering the great Erroll Garner who was born this week in 1921. One of the most original, intuitive and exciting pianists to emerge during the modern jazz era, Garner was one of the most well known and influential pianists in the world during his lifetime. By all accounts

Many immigrants that enter the United States bring a legacy of anti-blackness with them. It’s absurd to expect Black Americans to ignore that legacy and even more absurd for activists to try and gaslight Black Americans into pretending it doesn’t exist. New Essay: Black America

Torraine Walker Very good article. There's so much anti-blackness in America that when we write & speak about our experiences, it's met with resistance. So, now I'm resting, reading & researching my black American history & equip the knowledge to pass on to educate my family.
