A political meeting is interesting if people at it say interesting things & it takes actual decisions; it's boring if people just recite a clichéd line & everything's already been fixed up by the leadership. Dancing will not turn the second one into the first

The strategy of building a counterweight to the organising committee from below was always a risky one; I didn't want to build up people's hopes and dreams only for it to go nowhere, but it appears it has worked so far. Let's keep it going til we have a party we can be proud of.
