Just unbelievable. Thoughts with the employees. If anyone currently or formerly at Bungie wants to chat, my Signal is in my bio.

Utterly heartbreaking. It's hardly an original take but reading Game Informer helped shape my childhood, it was a massive influence on even wanting to work in this field. Rest easy, Game Informer. You deserved far, far better.

Space Marine 2 is a blast. Action-packed campaign (at least from the slice I played) while the Operations mode is challenging and fun, as long as you're in co-op.

I had a fantastic time talking with some of the team at World's Edge about Age of Mythology: Retold and everything that has led to this game.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is pretty good, at least from my early hours hands-on. This would be considered a remake coming from many other publishers, and Capcom has carefully balanced updating a *lot* without removing the original game's charm.

I got to see a fair bit of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gameplay, and it looks really good. Lots of immersive sim-lite elements, with a huge variety the types in puzzles you solve and environments you explore.

I've been spending a lot of time over the past week with Age of Mythology: Retold. It's a fantastic experience that feels like the culmination of what Xbox, World's Edge, and its partner studios have been working on over the last few years. windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/ag…

Space Marine 2 is a lot of fun. It knows what it is and feels like a well-crafted version of games more common in a bygone era. The co-op missions are particularly great, and holding the line against Tyranid hordes doesn't get old, though I did encounter some technical issues.

As someone that *loved* the original Frostpunk and liked the sequel's beta (but had some concerns) I'm thrilled at how well Frostpunk 2 has threaded the needle. The scope is massively increased, but it still retains the soul that 11 bit studios is known for.

I flew over the Grand Canyon and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and it's really impressive. Also chatted with members of the team about how it's all coming together.

I got to read an early copy of Play Nice, a new book from Jason Schreier that's all about the history of Blizzard. It's a fascinating read that really gets into the nuance of the company and what the Activision-Blizzard clashes often looked like.

I really like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, even though it's not always easy to do so! Many of the story reveals here should be a big deal but they aren't given the weight they deserve. Still, this is BioWare's penchant for compelling companions at its best. windowscentral.com/gaming/dragon-…
