Today I witnessed the largest crowd I've ever seen in Scarva. Despite relentless attacks from Republicans and a hostile media, our culture remains strong, inspiring and uniting thousands. No amount of hatred or distortion will ever destroy what lives so deeply in our people. 🇬🇧

If only the biased media toned down their divisive rhetoric, and those who demonstrate cultural hatred towards my community embraced tolerance,society could begin to heal and all could enjoy the cultural celebrations like the massive parade witnessed in Portrush on Sat evening.

The continued vilification of former police officers invites discrimination and is a dog whistle to others. We’re to accept convicted terrorists in Stormont, Councils and even the Policing Board but a former police officer with an exemplary record having a job on merit..🤯

Today we remember three young RUC officers, murdered by PIRA terrorists in Newry on the 26th July 1986. Brutally shot dead in cold blood as they sat in their patrol car. No spin or hollow words from Republicans can ever rewrite that truth. We must never forget their sacrifice.

Earlier this evening, Newcastle was lined with spectators for the Star of Down FB parade. The best of culture, pageantry and music was on display. It's lovely to see respect between both communities as the town was shared. No trouble, just good relations. Well done Maghera.

On Orange Victims Day, 1st Sept, we remember the sacrifice of this organisation. Many members served in the security forces, while many others like my father were innocent civilians. Each collarette in this picture marks a life, a powerful reminder about the scale of loss. LWF

This evening, we mark 50 yrs since Republican terrorists brutally murdered 5 Orangemen in Tullyvallen Orange Hall. It was a callous act of terrorism, carried out by thugs, who were driven by a hatred of their Protestant neighbours. This atrocity must never be erased from memory.

Honoured to be asked to speak and lay a wreath at the Donaghcloney Orange Arch this evening in memory of murdered Orange members. The parade was led by Blackscull Orange & Blue FB before their own parade commenced. It was a truly reflective occasion.

The only way a radicalised thug could overcome Charlie Kirk’s intellect and skill was by trying to kill him. This yet again exposes a vile assault on free speech. He was a deeply caring and compassionate Christian man. My heart is with his wife and children at this time.

It was a privilege to attend this morning’s vigil in Belfast to honour the life of Charlie Kirk. He was a source of inspiration, guided by commonsense and clarity in an age too often clouded by a leftist ideology. More people are beginning to recognise and reject that nonsense.

Alliance’s support for Sinn Fein’s amendment is yet another act of pandering which has caused deep hurt across our community. Relentless revisionism of our history is ongoing, we need every party to stand against this hypocrisy and support the "innocent" who suffered most.

Stay strong Ann. The Alliance approach only adds to the pain of victims and facilitates the rewriting of Republican history. So frustrating.

When a PIRA gunman forced my father to his knees with a gun, he made a conscious decision to commit murder. My father was "innocent" the terrorist was not. For Alliance to blur that line inflicts hurt, fuels division, and panders to Republican extremism. They should know better.
